Here and now

The mere thought of the word Time puts the pressure on me. I won’t make it … I don’t have time … That kind of thoughts are sometimes haunting me. So it creates nervousness, stress, resistance, anger ..

This whole whirlwind of emotions, from just one word. Time.

There are so many challenges in life, obstacles, tasks, obligations. We are programmed to run after them, to solve them all and to find new challenges again, tasks that keeps us going and then suddenly you just must keep going. How much time do we devote to ourselves and our thoughts, emotions, and introspection during this time? Do we dare to stop for a moment and relax, inhale?

Sometimes life suddenly surprises us and forces us to take a break. To look at our lives and ask ourselves why? Why do I have to stop now? What should I pay attention to, what should I understand?

When life surprises us so much, it is not easy to accept a change of state. Because it’s a change in our habits, our joys. Resistance arises. Reason seeks back its ideal state and does everything to get it.

In such a situation, the best thing to do is to listen to what life is telling you. Sit for a while and feel everything that is happening in your body. Observe your thoughts that are coming to you and shout in your ear not to accept this new state but to fight! Observe, breathe, and let go!

Accept your feelings and thoughts as they are, calm your breathing and say gratitude to yourself and the life for that moment. Thank life for knowing that you are the one who has the power to observe, realise, change, and let go the darkest emotions that arises in that moment.  You are the one who is able to live in the here and now, fully conscious and relaxed!
